Jack Lake Crazy Eights Mountain Bike Race

The annual Jack Lake Crazy Eights Mountain Bike Race offers multiple ways to challenge yourself. Racers can go solo or team up with friends, and juniors under 18 race for free. The 12-mile mountain bike course is 96% singletrack, fast-flowing, and aerobic—challenging but not overly technical. The Long Race is a 10-hour event for solo riders, duos, or open teams. The Mid Race is 6 hours for solo riders or duos, and the Short Race is 3 hours for solo riders, duos, or juniors. The Trail Run is approximately 10K on rolling singletrack trails, wide and smooth for comfortable running. Make it a full weekend getaway at Jack Lake Campground in Veterans Memorial Park, Langlade County. Participants can enjoy swimming in Jack Lake, a disc golf course, showers, and a kid-friendly 1/3 mile Jack Rabbit loop. A group campsite is reserved, or you can reserve your own spot.
